Guest of Honour at “From Scrap to Creation” Paper Collage Programme, GCAC Khallikote

Eminent lady artist of Odisha Basanta Kumari Samanta attended the “From Scrap to Creation” paper collage workshop and exhibition of the Government College of Art & Crafts (GCAC), Khallikote, as Guest of Honour. She opened the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp before Lord Jagannatha and shared the stage with Chief Guest Sibasis Baral, Deputy Collector, and Guest D. P. Das, Principal of GCAC, with Prof. Panchanan Sur serving as the workshop's resource person. GCAC Principal D. P. Das honoured her on stage, and she delivered an inspirational speech to the young participants, the next generation of artists.
